Hello world !
last week was a little slow for me, I needed some time off so I´m incorporating it with this week instead

Urban cone

wow ! what an awesome band, these guys are pretty young and this was their 3 show ever. They said to me they´ve only been playing together for 6 months. If you get the chance go see them, it´s so unusualy fresh !
sadly enough they only had 1 song in the playlist and no video, but I hear they will record some material soon...

these guys I´ve worked with before when I did the sound for the emergenza final 2 years ago.
Good band good guys :) they kinda sound like an early metallica..

yet another female fronted power metal band..
I think they opened the finals at emergenza this year..

Falling to minus

I don´t know how many times I´ve did the sound for this band.(too many maybe ?) I´ve even done the dreads on the bassplayer and his girlfriend ! anyhow it´s gonna be fun to see if they´ve done any progress since last time at debaser..(they opened for lillasyster and others)
I found this cellphone video of what I think might have been the first time I did work with them
back in the old days of brother tuck´s basement, before we even had any lights on stage !

you could call this johnny cash eats breakfeast with coldplay. good songwriting, good band.

The poddles + smash in pieces @ göta källare

Rock party at göta källare again this week , but from now on they will no more arrange this every week but once a month instead. if you live near stockholm come show your support !

here is a video of the poodels, i would love to write more about this band but my hangover from last saturday hasn´t given up on me yet so i´ll give you this video instead. the poodels also opens this week playlist check it out, it´s supposed to be metal ! :D. alltough I did hear rumors that they will do an acoustic set at göta källare...




smash in pieces is a young band from örebro, they sound a bit like hoobastank with good vocals and better guitars.
I´m really looking forward to see if the singer can deliver those vocals live ! Unfortunatly I won´t be doing the sound for them, since they will be bringing their own sound guy. I added 2 of their songs to the playlist and i give you the only "video" I found which consists of a picture slideshow with lyrics.. good song though !





15/10 @ la viele montagne
DAVILA 666 (puerto rico) + CHEAP TIME (us) + RAS + WILD FANGS

Wednesday i got a call about this gig, crappy equipment cheap beer, good bands :D

first band off for the night: wild fangs= 3 guys 2 guitars 2 toms one crash 3 vocals. I´ve worked with them before, very nice guys very cool band :) no video though but 2 songs added in the weeks playlist!

the 2nd band on stage (RAS) was more of a punk band. These guys put on quite a show ! people were throwing beer cans and shit ! lol punks don´t do videos but they do get to also be in the playlist -:=


3rd band (Cheap time) was from the us, cool guys, sounded a bit like the ramones. I bought their k7 tape for my car stereo :) rad gig, the drummer broke the front skin of the kick drum in the middle of a song, so he turned the kickdrum 180degrees while the rest of the band kept on and then got back ! epic :) found this video for you guys to get an idea.



last band on stage DAVILA 666 cool guys, also bought their tape. The end o their show was out of control :D great guys, wish em luck for the rest of their tour !

MAGNETIX (FR) + BRING ME THE FUCKIN RIOT... MAN

this saturday is gonna be awesome !
Not only will I get to use my french with magnetics but will aslo have a chance to do the sound again for BMTFR.M !

Magnetix is a french garagerock band i think they´re only 2 ! it´s gonna be awesome :p

Bring me the fucking riot ... man ! is from stockholm, i´ve worked with them before at malmen lillahotelbaren. I really like their musik, it´s so genuin and original whilst fun !

this is gonna be fun I´ve worked with both bands before !

If you guys like metal like meshuggah or soilwork you should definitly check out scarpoint !
I put 2 of their songs to open the playlist of the week.

in the meantime I give you this short report on the recording of the sweden united song scarpoint put together with some other metal vocalists




here is the actual song, bizarlly enough scarpoint doesn´t have any music videos :/ If you live near stockholm I suggest you show up tomorrow, I´v heard that some guests vocals might show up during the show ;=

M.A.N + Sonic Syndicate

this saturday I´m flying down to malmö in the south of sweden to do the sound for my good friends in M.A.N. If you like bands like Fear factory, NIN, Mudvayne and Sepultura you should check these guys out ! they play on 48 fret guitars and are about to tour europe as opening act for Threat signal in nov/december . Their frontman is non other than the charismatic mr Tony Jelencovich (transport league, Mnemic, Icon in me, Plantera, Glanzig and many many other bands try to google this guy you´ll get the picture ;) )

I´ve done the sound for M.A.N many times and I just love it so much stuff going on ! :) I put 2 of my favorite songs in the playlist for you lucky ones following this blog and Here I give you one of their latest video




Headlining this saturday at KB will be Sonic Syndicate, they have a lot on airtime on swedish radio and also have a europe tour coming up ! I´m looking forward to meet them and to see them live in a headline situation. last time I saw them was when they opened at hovet for Inflames and Gojira. I think they also recruted a new singer since then..

anyway, as always, 2 songs in the playlist and here´s the video !
