Hello world !
last week was a little slow for me, I needed some time off so I´m incorporating it with this week instead

this week will be mostly demo-bands and rockabilly for me ! let´s hope I ´ll survive...

Urban cone

wow ! what an awesome band, these guys are pretty young and this was their 3 show ever. They said to me they´ve only been playing together for 6 months. If you get the chance go see them, it´s so unusualy fresh !
sadly enough they only had 1 song in the playlist and no video, but I hear they will record some material soon...

these guys I´ve worked with before when I did the sound for the emergenza final 2 years ago.
Good band good guys :) they kinda sound like an early metallica..

you can still hear my exagerated reverb on the snare though lol :P




Arcane Reality

yet another female fronted power metal band..
I think they opened the finals at emergenza this year..
anyway 2 songs in the playlist and dig their promo video, it cracks me up :D



Falling to minus

I don´t know how many times I´ve did the sound for this band.(too many maybe ?) I´ve even done the dreads on the bassplayer and his girlfriend ! anyhow it´s gonna be fun to see if they´ve done any progress since last time at debaser..(they opened for lillasyster and others)
I found this cellphone video of what I think might have been the first time I did work with them
back in the old days of brother tuck´s basement, before we even had any lights on stage !
try to enjoy it ;)

It´s still demo bands, but the bar is raised a little higher. Let´s just say i´ve seen and worked with most of these bands before.

you could call this johnny cash eats breakfeast with coldplay. good songwriting, good band.
2 songs in the playlist, and for the video guess what ? this band from örebro is apperently trying to enter the eurovision 2011 as candidates in Finnish open selection.
I wish them the best of luck, they deserve it !
